Food Please

I missed my entry last night but I sure remember the day. MY food shortage is very noticeable. I’m only getting two small meals a day. Eating healthy but it’s just not enough. By 3pm I am out of energy and dinner is five hours away at least on a work day. I even had to dip into the canteen at work...on credit pop and chips. I don’t even bring my little money pouch with me in the hope of stopping any impulse buying. Yesterday I had the experience of watching a friend eat lunch at a restaurant while I sat there foodless and hungry.
The challenge card yesterday was giving my dog a treat. Short on time and funds yesterday I ended up sharing my daily piece of chicken with Gizmo. He enjoyed it of course. Was so tired I barely noticed I went to bed hungry again.
Today my challenge card is to volunteer for an hour before this challenge week is over. I ll let the gears turn on that one today.
I have 7.78 cents left
